Materials used: Hand cast and polished GRC concrete in two colours Mist and Storm and finished with acrylic wax

Description

This imposing, bespoke polished concrete fireplace was created for a private client in Cobham.

Spanning 3.5m and weighting 450kg, the fireplace was designed in two different contrasting finishes – Mist and Storm – to add dimension and texture to the finished product.  Two main large format pieces, fire place surround and the heart, were created as single casts to avoid any joins and give a seamless and stunning result.
