Project: Manufacture and installation of 6m long counter-leaver floating bench in Tempest colour and Silk finish at a private residence in Oxted.

Client: Private client   

Materials used: 20mm GRC concrete layer over timber frame in Tempest Silk finish with hydrophobic agent and stain proof finish

Description

The Living Concrete team were commissioned to design and install bespoke 6m floating bench which featured thick front profile in order to create an impression of much heavier piece.  Made in GRC, which is lighter and stronger than traditional concrete the bench was polished and treated with a specialist sealant before being secured to the walls with brackets for a floating-look finish.
