Spanning 5,195 sq ft over two floors, the newly opened Kiwa Sushi & Grill offers fusion of modern East Asian dining in the heart of London’s Chinatown. The Living Concrete team manufactured and installed 120m2 of Fairfaced concrete wall panels which were seamlessly cladded over large internal walls. The panels were manufactured using eco GRC concrete, which is lighter and stronger than traditional concrete and finished in Mist Grey to enhance natural weathered look.
The team faced challenges in the form of the panels being pre-cut, which meant there was only room for minor adjustments on site to make them fit perfectly. We also had a tight deadline. We’re pleased to report that the project was a success and the client was pleased.
